It’s hard to know exactly how many people in our communities are experiencing homelessness or are at-risk. What we do know is that the issue is real, and the number is increasing. Everybody deserves a safe place to call home, and that’s why IMACA is dedicated to helping those in need. If you don’t know what your next step is, we can help you figure it out. Part of the Eastern Sierra Continuum of Care (ES CoC), we work with community partners to ensure your needs are met.
Housing & Homeless Services
From immediate to long-term services, we try to help as many people as possible. We offer transitional and rapid rehousing (RRH), emergency shelter, and rental help. We also have affordable apartment complexes in Mammoth Lakes and Bishop.
As part of our dedication to ending homelessness, IMACA is working on two major projects. The Silver Peaks project has been a decade in the making and will provide a 72-unit affordable apartment complex in Bishop. The Eastern Sierra Veteran’s Campus will provide a 15-unit affordable apartment complex for veterans. It will include an onsite support hub and will also be in Bishop.
