Our Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) offers a one-time payment for a heating or cooling bill. Our Low Income Household Water Program (LIHWAP) offers a one-time payment for a water/wastewater bill.
Energy Bill Assistance
LIHEAP helps cover the cost of electricity, wood, oil, or propane. If you think you may receive a shut-off notice or already got one, don’t wait to apply! We also help with emergency heating (including water heaters) and cooling repairs.
Water Bill Assistance
LIHWAP helps cover the cost of past-due water or wastewater bills. It is a one-time payment. Stop by our office to apply!
